What is propane? Propane, also known as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), is a gas which is non-toxic, colorless and mostly odorless. Scent is added to propane to make it easier to detect in a leak situation. LPG is used for heating, water tanks, BBQs, cooking, and in some vehicles to power them like buses, forklifts and fleet vehicles.

The total market share of LPG was estimated at 195.3 million tons in 2016. The Worldwide increase in energy demand has created a higher push for LPG needs.
